Patriot

Wine Culture without Compromises

New vinophile ideas inevitably emerge when two wine lovers like Erwin Fender and Josef Tesch meet each other. They have already been able to express this in an extraordinary way with the two wines "Lena" and "Emely".

The successful collaboration of the two wine connoisseurs was to be continued in 2007. The mutual attitude – the love of exquisite wines as well as the deep ties to the terroir in Burgenland – were to be realised and reflected in the taste of a very special fine wine. And this is how "Patriot" emerged. Patriot is a wine that delivers what it promises in its name: robust, full of character and unique!

"Patriot" – pressed from 100% Blaufränkisch grapes and matured in an oak barrel for 30 to 36 months – is a remarkable wine: a clear avowal of the terroir in Burgenland and at the same time a mirror of the passion from Erwin Fender and Josef Tesch.

You can obtain Patriot in our hotel, packed in exclusive wine cases and in different sizes: 0.75 l, 1.5 l, 3 l, 9 l and 12 l.
