After successfully completing his apprenticeship in the Austrian gastronomy, the young Tyrolean used the last few years to deepen his knowledge in the field of wine. The experience he brings with him from establishments such as Der Steirerhof, Hotel Rosengarten/ Gourmet Restaurant Simon Taxacher (19 P Gault&Millau), Familux Resort Dachsteinkönig or the Edelweiss Salzburg Mountain Resort is a great enrichment for Schöne Aussicht as well as for our entire group.

Since it is a well-known fact that you never stop learning, further education is particularly close to Benjamin's heart and he also doesn't shy away from competitions. Most recently, he achieved 2nd place at the Austrian State Championship for Sommeliers in Schloss Gabelhofen in 2021. He also uses this expertise as a trainer at the Austrian Wifi training institute, where he teaches on the Young Sommelier, Sommelier Austria, Diploma Sommelier and Sparkling Wine Connoisseur courses.

As part of the renovation work currently underway, our wine cellar is being redesigned and a new tasting room is added. None of this stops a sommelier from being where our bottles are temporarily stored. Judging by the smile on his face, he obviously feels at home.

We are already looking forward to our first joint tasting in the "new" Schöne Aussicht.
